i was complaining how cold it would be thus did not go, now how i wish i went to experience it. i really wish i had gone - once in a lifetime. Anyway, i will go in 2012.

This touched me. I do not personally know the director, but that brought a thought to my mind. Many people put up walls around them of fear, hate, and prejudice. The reason for the wall is not as relevant as the result. They never venture into another's yard and by staying in their own space they never see the beauty God has placed in their neighbors garden. I am always a richer person for stepping outside my yard. Thank you D-Nice for allowing me to see your garden, the gifts given by a creator beyond measure. Yes I know about weeds too, but they are not the winners.
Watching video of the celebration and smiling faces from that far away from the capitol was to me, one of the most impressive viewpoints so far. Thank you for sharing that and of course your photography as well.

I saw the pictures last week and today I see the video footage... and again, I'm breathless. I'm so in love with this time of my life and that of my children. I appreciate what you've captured in my absence as I was not fortunante enough to be there -- but with your unknowing assistance, you put me in that present moment. Thanks so much!!! I hope to see you in 2012 as I'll be there for his second inauguration. I'm already saving my pennies.
