The Grammy Experience with Heavy D.

For those of you that didn't know, Heavy D was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Reggae category for his album "Vibes." This was an amazing accomplishment. It was his first reggae album, and his first album in over 10 years. He was asked to perform the single "Long Distance Girlfriend" during the pre-Grammy celebration. I had the chance to document that experience. Hev, thanks for inspiring us.

Love the shot of Hev with the clouds in the background. That could be a cd cover.

Man I did not even know Hev resurfaced as a Reggae Artist until I happen to watch his video on BET one day. Happy to see him still in the mix!

That's wild..I can remember Hev saying the "Big Tyme" album should have won a Grammy. ( I agree) and now he's nominated for a reggae album. Go figure. BTY It is a good album. I bought just because Im a Heavy fan.

Being a dancer from 86-96 and a part of that creative wave. I have got to say it is good to see Hev still representing the art form.
