It's always nice to see an old friend. I ran into PMD, of EPMD, at last night's Kid Rock show, where I was the opening act. It brought back fond memories. The first record I learned to mix with was EPMD's first single entitled "It's My Thing."

so its my thing aka seven minutes of funk. just copped the original whole darn family from my mans eaasy lee, spoonie and treach 3's dj. which led me to ask: where did tyrone thomas come into play, as the album is credited to simply, the whole darn family. im knowing youve heard how tough it was to get the seven min sample into a digital loop as it wasinitially analog. google jaz-o and seven minutes of funk and he'll explain.
