Random Act of Kindness

After dinner with the family, we stopped by Starbucks for coffee. I asked for the usual, "one grande bold coffee, please." When the Starbucks employee returned with my order, he said "It's on the house, sir." That random act of kindness prompted me to photograph him. Being kind to someone goes a long way.

That was nice. Sometimes just a kind smile, hello or jesture will set the tone for your day. That was really nice.

;-). Those moments aren't to be taken for granted...sweet. Yesterday I met a woman that was shopping for her daughter's sweet sixteen. She was looking a little overwhelmed with shopping so I just started helping her and giving her pointers on party favors, table settings, etc. After I finished helping her, she just hugged me and told me she was a cancer survivor. I notice a drawl in her speech, but I didn't know. She invited me to the Sweet Sixteen and I told her it will be one of our community features on www.LoveSetFree.Com. Life happens in little moments. Sometimes those "little" moments can be the biggest. Oh, Marilyn's a writer too, as am I.

D-Nice, what an honor to take this man's photograph. I'm sure that doesn't happen every day. A photo...by D-Nice! You should give him a copy next time. ;-). Spread Love.
