The quote of the day: "... If you wanna blame somebody, blame your mother and father for having you 15 to 20 years too soon." YES! That's why I love Sadat. You ALWAYS get real talk from this brother. No doubt about it.

Excellent work as always, D. Peace.

Sadat X is one of the nicest emcees on planet earth. We did a song together that just dropped recently called “SUP”. Go peep it, because on the real, this was a dream come true for me.

Working with Sadat X was like getting drafted to the NBA and playing on the team with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Unbelievable you hear me. Thank you D-Nice.

I grew up with these guys. Puba ismy cousin. What you wont hear, is that I bought Hip hop to New Rochelle, as a member of the Zulu Nation, since 1976. Puba was much younger than me; I used to hold Zulu meetings in my mom's apartment in the project, and Puba lived next door. I was the first female mc/dj in Westchester County, and the first time Puba had a mic in his hand, was in the Big Wheel night club, where I performed. I made him get on the mic one night, because I was feeling his flow; he liked the feeling, and a star was born. I was even mentioned in one of Puba's tracks. I am proud that they made something out of their lives, because we were hella bad, except for Puba, always the good one.

D-Nice hip hop stories are so real, they bring out the the human side of the artists; and they speak the truth, where as noone else can get it out of them.

Good work, again, D.

Peace!

Im from Uptown and I met X a few times, one time was actually in the train. From looking at this video I could tell that jail takes a toll on brothers. Sadat is a cool dude and I will always respect his music and for always staying in the hood. He said 157th and Broadway. Yeah, the snitching situation up there is at an all time high.

Props! That was excellent. Please don't ever stop doing these. I know it might seem like an obvious choice, but what about the True Hip hop Story of BDP; even though you might have to turn the camera on yourself.

Great video, good insight about not gettin' caught-up in the system. Plus good skills and artistry have no age limit!

Nobody is doing it like this elsewhere. Much respect to Sadat! I stay GLUED to the net to see when the next one's coming. I'd love to see Slick Rick, Rakim, K-Solo, and maybe some west coast dudes too! King Tee... Thanks, D!!

The pictures are beautiful and I know uR a dope photographer so I'm curious about the workflow. OneL... btw I have footage of U at Soul Cafe performing "My Name Is D-Nice" if ya want it.
