Everyday People: New York City

Today, I decided to dust off the Leica M8 and hit the streets of SOHO for some photography.

Wow. These are great. The quality is amazing. You are really good. I'm a little jealous. lol but instead of 'hating' im just going to have to step my photography game up. I like the diversity in them. I'm a poet so I always look at details and I can do a different poem on each picture because they all seem to have their own 'story' thats not connected to any other outside of the NY factor. Nice work....sorry for rambling.

Striking, but I kinda feel you don't need so much photoshop to convey the impact. I think i like the 2nd one best.

Spot on mate! I'm from Ohio, we don't really talk like that... But that is wonderful story-telling/starting(?).

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful pics. My grandmother used to always say "one half of the world doesn't know what the other half is doing", but you've shown us some details of how people are living taking it all in stride in N.Y. city in these turbulent times. Once again, I thank you for sharing.

I love that through your eyes the beauty of everyday people and the envrioment. It shows the real world. If everyone had that same mental concept, maybe the world would be a better place.

are you going to start selling your photos???? I LOVE SOHO!!! Thanks for sharing these images from different eyes...all I see when I go to SOHO is "shopping!"

I always enjoy your work. I used to work in the SOHO area and I loved it. Your pic's are quite interesting. The expressions on peoples faces, the graffiti in the background, the clothes the people are wearing and the diversity of people says a lot about NYC culture. Thanks for capturing part of the essence of NYC!
